Meeting Summary

We look forward to hosting the 7th ACCE Annual Meeting at the ALEC 47th Annual Meeting in the sunny state of Florida! Orlando is the #1 travel destination in the US and its wide array of activities makes it the #1 destination for ACCE meetings. The ACCE Annual Meeting is the premier meeting of policymakers committed to free enterprise and individual liberty. Local officials and public policy experts gather to discuss and address major state policy issues, participate in interactive and  immersive learning experiences  and connect with peers and industry experts from across the states.

Important Dates 

Early-bird registration will open February 19, 2020 and rates will end on May 28, 2020.

Standard registration rates will begin May 29, 2020 and end June 17, 2020.

The group rate for the host hotel ends June 17, 2020.

 To reserve a room at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes, please register for the ACCE 7th Annual Meeting. Once your registration is approved, you will receive a registration confirmation email with a link to book your room. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis until sold out.

On-site registration rates will begin on June 18, 2020. 

Online registration closes July 12, 2020*.

*After July 12, 2020, registration will be on-site during registration hours (see printable agenda).

Policies

Guest / Spouse Registration

Guest / Spouse registration is meant to accommodate legal spouses and immediate family members ONLY. No exceptions will be made. Guest / Spouse designation will be clearly visible on name badge.

Registration Process and Payment Methods

Conference registration for the Annual Meeting will not be confirmed until the registration process has been completed and the payment has been received and processed.

In accordance with our policies, we review all registrations. This review policy ensures registrants have selected the most appropriate registration option. You will receive notification of registration status within three (3) business days. Your payment will not be processed until your registration is accepted. Payment amount may be adjusted to reflect the correct registration type and fees associated.

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) cannot be responsible for your spam filters blocking your confirmation email. Please check for a confirmation email before committing to travel arrangements. 

Accommodation costs are not included in the conference registration fee. Attendees are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements. The ALEC group rate at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes is $199/night.  To reserve a room at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes, please register for the ALEC 47th Annual Meeting. Once your registration is approved, you will receive a registration confirmation email with a link to book your room. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis until sold out.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Registrations cancelled prior to 11:59 PM EST June 17, 2020 are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Registrations are non-refundable after 11:59 PM EST June 17, 2020.

Exhibit Booths cancelled prior to 11:59 PM EST June 17, 2020 are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the rate paid. Registrations are non-refundable after 11:59 PM EST June 17, 2020.

To cancel, go to the registration site and click Already Registered? Enter the email used to register and the confirmation number found on the confirmation email. Then click the UNREGISTER button at the top of the page. Follow the instructions to confirm the cancellation.

A refund will automatically be issued based on the policy above. Please allow 2-7 business days to process depending on the respective bank.

Please contact Gwen Hodge with any questions on refunds or substituting your registration. Registration substitutions will not be allowed once the attendee has checked in to the event.

Personal Property

ACCE accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property at the 2020 Annual Meeting.

Civility Policy

ALEC is a forum for stakeholders to exchange ideas and develop real, state-based solutions to encourage growth, preserve economic security and protect hardworking taxpayers. ACCE members understand the importance of hearing from all sides of an issue and value public-private partnership in policy discussions. In order to foster an environment where all sides can be heard, you must speak in a civil manner when presenting at or attending ACCE meetings and not disparage members and organizations that belong to ACCE.

By completing the registration, you understand that you may be photographed, taped or recorded. You grant permission for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) to use your image or voice in all forms and media as permitted by law. You waive the right to inspect or approve versions of your image or voice or the written copy that may be used in connection with either.
